Clipboard history

Your last 500 copies of text, newest first.

Press ⌥⌘V, or choose Clipboard History in the menu bar. Type to filter, then press Return to paste into the app you were in. A normal search of 3 or more characters also shows up to 2 matching copies.

What it does not keep

• Copies that password managers mark as private
• Copies from Keychain Access and Passwords
• Text longer than 100,000 characters

The history stays on your Mac. Clear Clipboard History in the menu bar deletes it.
